| #66 | Show server update time in status bar | UI | 2.14.X | enhancement | 11/28/07 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
In bottom right, show the server update time, according to NDO. Very useful, especially with asynchronous NDO now. Use nagios_programstatus.status_update_time as the time. This would need to be updated via Ajax calls - maybe as part of the Opsview status lights. Also, add current server time. This is just the raw time of the Opsview server (see #75 for a reason why this is useful). Use javascript to increment the time (as it is just server time and thus updates predictably). However, hide this option by default, so that only server update time or server time is shown - click on the time to get the other time. Default to server time (server update time is more power-user). Have the current selection saved within a cookie, so that it is saved across sessions. Not sure how to present the times, either beside or above the Refresh counter. |

| #151 | Patch to 2.10.3.802 for audible alerts | UI | 2.14.X | enhancement | 03/04/08 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I have two patches (one for the /usr/local/nagios directory structure, one for /usr/local/opsview-web) that implement audible alerts in the Opsview-generated pages (HH, etc.) These patches are against 2.10.3.802. Note that this does not implement sounds on the Nagios CGI generated pages. There was some discussion about this back in December: http://lists.opsview.org/lurker/thread/20071220.022425.3c8e88e4.en.html Jason Mogavero had some some initial work on this and the project has now transitioned to me. So please attribute credit to him (jason.mogavero@data393.com) as well. Media files (hostdown.wav, critical.wav, and warning.wav) need to go in /usr/local/nagios/share/media. I will also post to the users list regarding this. Let me know if you need these patches in a different format, etc. Thanks, Mike |
